Austin, 1st March2024: Trice, the modern real-time payments platform, today announces that Mike West, former VicePresident of Visa Direct, ex-PayPal, ex-American Express, has joined as a StrategicAdvisor.
Mike joins at a critical inflection point for the company, following the successful completion of an initial seed round, led by investors Diagram Ventures, Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), and JAM FINTOP. With the addition of West, Trice will bolster its leadership team with extensive expertise in the payments industry including B2C, B2B, P2P, and A2A money movement.
Mike brings over 10 years from Visa and as Vice President of Visa Direct, a global real-time money movement platform, where he oversaw the launch of new products, use cases and growth of US and International markets. Prior to Visa, Mike spent 4 years leading Product Marketing at PayPal, where he supported the company’s successful launch of new digital payments solutions and services and subsequent rapid global expansion.
